Government Religious Committee holds contest on knowledge of religion and religious law on occasion of its 60th anniversary

On July 22, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a competition on understanding of religion, religious law and 60th history of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and state sector on religious affairs (August 2, 1955 – August 2, 2015).
Attending the event were Vice Chairmen of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà and Dương Ngọc Tấn, and GCRA’s officials and staff.

During the contest, three teams named Companion, Solidarity and Gold Star, each team consisting of five members from GCRA’s departments and units, competed on five parts of introduction, multiple-choice, explanation, problem solving and presentation regarding contents of knowledge of belief and religion, provisions of the law on belief and religion, and 60-year history of the State administration sector on religion.
The event aimed to enhance understanding of religion, State’s policies and laws on religion and the tradition of 60-year building and development of the State administration sector on religion.
As for the final result of the contest, the top prize went to Companion team and its team member, Hoàng Thị Diệu Thương, was awarded the best presentation.
