A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of Protestant Affairs Thiều Thị Hương visited the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (North) based in Hanoi on January 30, ahead of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019.
Pastor President of the ECVN (North) Nguyễn Hữu Mạc welcomed the GCRA delegation.
At the visiting reception, while extending Tet greetings to dignitaries and followers of the evangelical church Director Thiều Thị Hương urged to the church closely work with local authorities and disseminate the Law on Belief and Religion to followers.
Speaking with the guests, Pastor President Nguyễn Hữu Mạc took the chance to thank the GCRA for creating favorable conditions for the church’s affairs over the past years and extending Tet greetings to GCRA’s officials and staff.
