Government religious committee extends pre-Christmas visit to Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Tiến Trọng extended on December 16 a visit to the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ahead of Christmas 2021.
Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng accompanied by Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo was welcomed by Chairman of the Coordination Committee of theVietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints HoàngVănTùng.
During the visit, while extending Christmas and New Year greetings to the coordination committee and all followers of the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng spoke highly of practical contributions of the church for the Covid-19 prevention work and supports to the treatment of Covid-19 patients over the past years.
On behalf of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chairman Hoàng Văn Tùng took the chance to thank the Ministry of Home Affairs and the GCRA for supports and favorable conditions extended to religious and social affairs of the church over the past years./.
