Government religious committee extends New Year greetings to Sounthern Catholic leaders

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese on February 8, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet).

During the visit, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng extended wishes of happiness and success to all Catholic dignitaries and followers in the archdiocese in the lunar New Year.

Speaking with the guest, Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh Archdiocese Paul Bùi Văn Đọc thanked the GCRA for the visit and stated to continue encouraging Catholics in the archdiocese to promote national unity and make practical contribution to the country and its people.

On the same day, the GCRA delegation visited and extended New Year wishes to Cardinal Jean-Baptiste  Phạm Minh Mẫn and Bishop of Ba Ria Emmanuel Nguyễn Hồng Sơn./.
