Government religious committee extends congratulations to grand ceremony of Tay Ninh Caodai church

A delegation led by Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Caodai Affairs Division Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên extended on January 29 a congratulating visit to the Tay Ninh Caodai Church on occasion of its grand ceremony dedicating to Almighty God.
Joining the visit included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Đài Thy, and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Võ Đức Trong.
Cardinal Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church Thượng Tám Thanh welcomed the delegation in the Holy See of the Caodai Church located in Hoa Thanh district’s Long Hoa ward of Tay Ninh province.
During the visit, Head of GCRA’s Caodai Affairs Division Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên spoke highly of the organization of the ceremony which included 32 exhibition booths, performances of dragon and unicorn, a four-spirits dance, Chhay-dam drum show, and a pentatonic music, Covid-19 prevention, and receptions for domestic and foreign guests and visitors.
Speaking with the guests, Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh thanked the GCRA and local authorities for creating favorable conditions to affairs of the Caodai church over the past years.
