Government religious committee extends congratulations to Birthday Anniversary of Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Founder

A delegation led by Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Belief and Other Religions’ Affairs Department Trần Thị Minh Thu paid on December 18 visits to the Central Executive Committee and the founding temple of Hoa Hao Buddhism in An Giang province’s Phu Tan district, on the occasion of the 103rd Birthday Anniversary of Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Founder Huỳnh Phú Sổ.
During the visits, while extending congratulations to Hoa Hao Buddhists, Director Trần Thị Minh Thu highlighted their practical contributions for social charities and the Covid-19 prevention work over the past years, and spoke highly of the success of the exchange meeting on the construction of rural bridges and roads by Hoa Hao Buddhists in Southwest region.
On the same day, the GCRA official attended the grand ceremony marking the 103rd Birthday Anniversary of Hoa Hao Buddhism’s Founder Huỳnh Phú Sổ in An Hoa temple located in Phu Tan district’s Phu My town of the province.
