A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of the Caodai Affairs Department Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên visited on April 13 the White Cloth Caodai Church in Kien Giang province.

At the visit
During the visit, the GCRA delegation met with Archbishop Trần Văn Huynh, Chairman of the Caodai Church’s Executive Committee, other dignitaries of the Church’s Executive Committee and heads of the management boards in 13 parishes of Kien Giang province.
Archbishop Trần Văn Huynh shared with the guests about results of the congress of the management boards for 2021-2026 tenure, preparations of the national 6th congress of the Church, including amendments of the Church’s Charter in accordance with the Law on Belief and Religion, nominated personnel of the Church’s executive body, and proposal for commendation of outstanding Caodai groups and individuals in social charities.
Speaking with the host, Director Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên highly appreciated the White Cloth Caodai Church’s achievements in religious affairs, the Covid-19 prevention work and the social charities over the past years, as well as preparations for the national congress of the Caodai sect for the 2022-2027 tenure.
