Government religious committee delegation concludes visit to Nghe An

During the last day of the working trip to Nghe An province, the delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs led by Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng paid in July 22 visits to several worshipping places in Nam Dan district.

While visiting Kim Lien Relic Site, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, the GCRA delegation offered incense and laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial located in Sen Village.

At the historical site, the delegation also had a chance to learn about the historical-cultural space, artifacts and documents about the childhood of President Ho Chi Minh and his family’s members.  

Later, the delegation visited Dai Tue Pagoda located in Nam Anh commune and was welcomed by Senior Venerable Thích Thọ Lạc, Abbot of the pagoda cum Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Central Executive Council and Standing Vice Chairman of the executive committee of the VBS chapter in Nghe An province.

During the welcoming reception, Senior Venerable Thích Thọ Lạc informed the guests of Buddhist practices in the locality as well as the history and development of Dai Tue pagoda.
