Government Religious Committee conducts inspection of religious laws implementation in Binh Dinh province

On September 9, a delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) paid a working visit to Binh Dinh provine to inspect the implementation of the law on belief and religion in the province.
During the inspection of the legal implementation from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2014, the GCRA delegation had working meetings with the provincial People’s Committee, concerning departments, the People’s Committees of Phu Cat district and Quy Nhon city and local religious organizations in order to check the observance of laws and regulations relating to belief and religion.
Binh Dinh province is a coastal province in the central region with many operative religions, namely Catholicism, Buddhism, Caodaism, Protestantism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Minh Su faith, Baha’i….with about 3,000 dignitaries, over 2,000 deacons and over 500 religious worshiping places.
