Government Religious Committee Chairman extends pre-Tet visits to VBS chapters in Thua Thien – Hue, Da Nang

Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc paid on January 17-18 visits to chapters and dignitaries of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the central localities of Thua Thien – Hue and Da Nang, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

In Thua Thien – Hue province, the GCRA official visited and met with Most Venerable Thích Hải Ấn, Head of the VBS chapter in the province, and Most Venerable Thích Đức Thanh, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the provincial VBS.

In Da Nang city, the GCRA chairman visited the VBS executive committee in the city and was welcomed by Most Venerable Thích Từ Tánh, Chairman of the municipal VBS executive committee.
Pre-Tet visit to the VBS executive committee in Da Nang
During the visits, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc extended Tet greetings to the Buddhist dignitaries as well as all Buddhist monks, nuns and lay followers in Thua Thien – Hue and Da Nang.
He also asked the executive committee of the VBS chapters in the two localities to continue promoting its roles and fine traditions in Buddhist affairs, and expressed hope that the congress of the VBS chapters in Thua Thien – Hue province and Da Nang city in 2022 will be successfully convened.
