Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Phạm Dũng extended his greetings to Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ during his visit to Vien Minh pagoda in Phu Xuyen district ahead of the upcoming the Traditional Lunar New Year.
Joining the visit included Director of Buddhist Affairs Department Bùi Hữu Dược, Director of International Cooperation Department Nguyễn Đức Vinh and Deputy Chief of the Office Nguyễn Hữu Đức.
The GCRA Chairman Phạm Dũng expressed Tet wishes to Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ, as well as his expectation that Most Venerable would continue to lead the VBS firmly on the way to indoctrinate the dharma for the purpose of happiness, peace and prosperous to the country and its people.

Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ thanked the Party, State and the GCRA for their due attention and support and stated that the VBS together with Buddhist monks, nuns and followers would promote unity, live for “better secular and religious life”, contributing to build the prosperous country.
