Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyễn Lương Thành, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee, Mrs. Nguyễn Hương Giang, Chairman of the provincial Home Affairs and leaders from Department of Catholic Affairs under the GCRA.

At the visit, Mr. Phạm Dũng extended best wishes and merry Christmas to Catholic dignitaries and followers in the diocese.  He also praised contributions made by Catholic dignitaries and followers to the Church and society, and expressed his hope that the Catholic dignitaries would continue guiding followers to accompany and stay closely attached to the nation.

For his part, Bishop Cosme Hoàng Văn Đạt expressed his sincere thanks to the GCRA for their due attention extended to Catholic dignitaries and followers in the diocese. He stated that he would further encourage followers to make practical contributions to build a prosperous and happy country of Vietnam.
