Government religious committee appraises sub-project on Protestantism

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on December 25 a meeting to evaluate results of a sub-project on Protestantism.

The sub-project is a part of the master project “Protestantism and its influence toward Vietnam society - practical issues related to the state administration on  Protestantism in the 2020 – 2030 period” undertaken by M.A. Nguyễn Tài Tâm from Department of Internal Affairs under the Government Office.

The event was chaired by Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng, and attended by members of the scientific council and the sub-project’s management board.

During the event, M.A. Nguyễn Tài Tâm briefed results of the sub-project on fundamental changes in the religious life in Vietnam and recommendations to the state administration on religion in the 2020-2030 period.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Vũ Chiến Thắng highly appreciated practical values of the sub-project to the state administration on religion and asked the sub-project management board to make appropriate changes to the structure of the sub-project and its contents related to current religious trends in Vietnam in the coming time.
