Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Dũng paid a visit to Ba Vang pagoda in Quang Ninh province on December 13
The visit took place on occasion of a grand ceremony held on Dec. 14 for completion of ten great books keeping names of heroic martyrs through the country to be placed in the pagoda.
It is reported that these ten great books listed hundreds of thousand heroic martyrs which implemented by the Intellectual and Development Magazine as a symbol deep gratitude to heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence, freedom, and unification. These books were brought to Ba Vang pagoda on occasion of 70th founding anniversary of Vietnam People Army.
On this occasion, the delegation visited the place for keeping and worshipping ten great books and offered incense to pay respect to the heroic martyrs. The GCRA leader also presented congratulatory flowers to the pagoda on occasion of grand ceremony.
