At the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged about issues related to Halal certification in order to promote trade in Muslim markets, including the UAE. The conference discussion clarified responsibilities of concerning agencies and the relationship between the certificate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Halal certification for a product.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn highly valued clarifying comments of ministries and agencies on Halal issues for meeting the religious criteria and ensuring safety and quality of products in order to help promoting Vietnam’s export of Halal products to the Muslim markets.
