A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Chairman Phạm Dũng paid a working visit to Binh Thuan province on November 11th, 2014.
Joining the GCRA delegation were representatives of the Other- Religion Affairs Department and the Committee Office.
Local authorities at the meeting reception with the delegation included Mr. Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Steering Committee for Religious affairs; Mr. Nguyễn Thành Tâm, Member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nam, Director of Home Affairs Department; Mr. Nguyễn Kiến Trạch, Deputy Director of Home Affairs Department cum Chairman of the Binh Thuan provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
At the meeting reception, the delegation was informed of a report on religious activities 2014 in the locality, including the review of the ten-year implementation of Resolution No. 25-NQ/TW of the 9th Central Party Committee on religious affairs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phạm Dũng, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the GCRA praised the efforts of local authorities for well implementing the State administration on religious affairs in the province. He also suggested the Steering Committee for Religious Affairs and the Binh Thuan provincial Committee for Religious Affairs to focus on key tasks for 2014.
Chairman Phạm Dũng also pledged to coordinate with central and local authorities to effectively solve remaining issues and problems related to religious affairs in the locality in coming time.
