Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Dương Ngọc Tấn visited and met with Superior Nun Thích Đàm Ngọc, Abbess of Dam Soi Pagoda located in Ha Nam province’s Thanh Liem district, on occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2018.
While extending Tet greetings to the Buddhist nun, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn praised her contributions through educational and charitable activities in the locality. He also asked the superior nun to promote her role in motivating Buddhists to actively participate in social programs and movements for socio-economic development in Ha Nam.
Speaking with the guest, Superior Nun Thích Đàm Ngọc took the chance to thank GCRA for favorable conditions extended to Buddhist affairs Ha Nam in general and Dam Soi pagoda in particular./.
