A delegation of the Vietnam Baptist Church led by Pastor President of the Vietnam Baptist Church Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám paid a visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on November 01.
Acting Director of Protestant Affairs Department under GCRA Thiều Thị Hương welcomed the delegation.
At the visiting reception, the Pastor President shared with the hosts results of the Church’s 3rd congress (2016-2020 tenure) and plans of activities in the coming time. The Baptist Leader also took the chance to thank the GCRA for its useful guidance and favorable conditions extended to the Church’s activities over the past years.
Speaking at the event, Acting Director Thiều Thị Hương extended congratulatory wishes to the Vietnam Baptist Church on its successful congress and called on the Church to make further contributions to patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities as well as practically implement the Church’s operation motto "Living the Gospel, worshipping God, serving the Fatherland, closely accompanying the nation and observing the law ".
