Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà hosted a reception on March 05 for a visiting delegation from the Adventist Church.
The Adventist Church delegation included Pastor Head of the Church Trần Thanh Truyện, Pastor Member of the Church’s Executive Committee Trần Ngọc Phục, and pastors Daniel George Smith and Dean Jakson from the US.

During the reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà thanked the visit of US pastors and shared about the religious life in Vietnam and the state’s policies on belief and religion. He affirmed that the State of Vietnam always creates favorable conditions for religious practices according to the state’s laws and religious organizations’ regulations, and promotes fine cultural and moral values of religions in society.
While praising the Vietnam Adventist Church’s practical contributions to charity and social work in the country over the past years, he expressed hope that the Adventist Church would proactively respond to movements launched for the socio-economic development in the localities.
During the meeting, Pastor Daniel George Smith and Pastor Dean Jakson took the chance to thank the GCRA for facilitating their missionary activities in Vietnam. They also shared with the host activities of the Adventist Church in the world, as well as its plans for Vietnam in the coming time.
