Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Afairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga hosted on January 20 a reception for a visiting delegation of Tay Ninh Caodai Church, ahead of Tet (Lunar New Year) 2021.
The 14-member Caodai delegation was led by Bishop Thượng Sang Thanh, Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Churh’s Representative Committee in Ho Chi Minh City.
During the visit, Bishop Thượng Sang Thanh took the chance to thank the GCRA for favorable conditions extended to the Tay Ninh Caodai Church over the past years. He also sent wishes of peace, happiness and good health to the GCRA’s leader and staff ahead of Lunar New Year.
Speaking with the guests, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga highlighted active responses and practical supports made by the Tay Ninh Caodai Church for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and flood-hit victims in Central region in 2020.
In addition, the representative committees of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in provinces and cities have well implemented the motto "good life, good religion", making important contributions to strengthen national solidarity and socio-economic development of the country.
The GCRA’s Vice Chairwoman also extended Tet greetings to all leaders and members of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church.
