Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga hosted a reception on April 12 for a visiting of delegation of several Caodai Churches.
The Caodai Churches delegation was led by Cardinal Trần Đức Tăng, Chairman of the Bright - Verity Way Caodai Church (Cao Dai Minh Chon Dao)’s Standing Executive Committee and participated by heads of Caodai Churches of Ante-Creation (Tien Thien), White Cloth (Bach Y), Verity (Chon Ly), Correction-Path (Ban Chinh dao), and Mission (Truyen giao), on occasion of their working visit in Hanoi for attending a conference of the Vietnam Central Fatherland Front Committee.
During the visit, on behalf of the delegation, Principal Archbishop Huỳnh Thanh Phong, Vice Chairman of Tien Thien Caodai Church’s Standing Executive Committee informed the host results of religious affairs of the Cao Dai Churches and outstanding activities of the Caodai Alliance Council in 2020.
He also expressed hope to continue receiving favorable conditions and guidance from the GCRA for religious affairs of Caodai churches in 2021.
Representatives of the Caodai Churches also had exchanges with the host on the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for 2021- 2026 tenure and the national congress of several Caodai Churches in 2021.
Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga highly appreciated practical contributions to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and relief supplies sent to flood-hit victims in the Central region by Caodai churches in last year.
