Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Tiến Trọng paid a Christmas visit to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (North) on December 20.

The official accompanied by Director of Protestant Affairs Department under the GCRA Thiều Thị Hương was welcomed by Pastor President of the ECVN (North) Bùi Văn Sản and other pastors from the ECVN Executive Committee.
During the visiting reception, while extending merry Christmas celebrations to the ECVN’s dignitaries and members, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng praised practical contributions made by the Evangelical church over the past years. He expressed hope that the Christian church would continue guiding its members to conduct religious practices in accordance with the law, proactively join social programs and movements launched for socio-economic development in localities.
Also in the same day, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Tiến Trọng visited the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and extended merry Christmas to Hoàng Văn Tùng, Head of the Church’s Coordination Committee and all members of the Church.
