A delegation led by Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Belief & Other Various Religions’ Affairs Trần Thị Minh Thu on September 6 visited and met with Brahman’s Permanent Dignitary Council in Ninh Thuan province.
The GCRA visit accompanied by Vice Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Ninh Thuan Nguyễn Tường had exchanges with Chief of the Cham Brahmanism’s Dignitary Council in the province Hán Đô and members of the dignitary council on social-religious affairs of the council over the past time and preparations for Kate Festival 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, Director Trần Thị Minh Thu spoke highly of the Brahman dignitary council’s efforts and supports in the Covid-19 pandemic prevention work, as well as upholding fine traditions for socio-economic development in the locality.
Regarding the Kate Festival 2020, the dignitary council informed that they will guide followers to organize the festival in accordance with regulations, safe and economic manners, and strictly observe preventive measures against the SARS-CoV-2.
On the occasion, the GCRA delegation has also visited the Bani Islamic Executive Council and the Islamic Community’s Representative Committee in the province.
