Welcoming the GCRA’s delegation included Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council cum Head of the Committee for Information and Communication Thích Gia Quang and Buddhist dignitaries in the VBS’s Northern Office.

Speaking at reception, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà extended congratulatory greetings to the Buddhist Church on the occasion of annual Buddhist festival and retreat, and spoke highly of the Central VBS’s achievements in Buddhist affairs in the past years. He also expressed his hope that the Central VBS would continue guiding Buddhist monks, nuns and followers to preserve and promote fine cultural values of Buddhism.

Earlier, on August 13, GCRA’s Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn visited and presented congratulatory flowers to Supreme Patriarch of the Central VBS Thích Phổ Tuệ and Deputy Patriarch of Central VBS Thích Thanh Sam, on occasion of the Buddhist Parents Festival Day and completion of the summer retreat 2016 (B.E. 2560).
