Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Chiến Thắng hosted on November 15 a meeting with religious deputies who are attending the 4th legislative session of Vietnam’s 14th National Assembly.
Joining the meeting included GCRA’s Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà and representatives of GCRA’s departments and divisions.
Speaking during the meeting, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of roles and practical contributions made by the religious deputies in the drafting process of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decrees. The GCRA leader also expressed hope that the religious dignitaries would continue making valuable comments on religious as well as socio-economic issues, and further promoting their roles in the National Assembly.
