A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Dương Ngọc Tấn extended visits to Buddhist and Catholic organizations in Ninh Binh province on January 30 on occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2018.
The GCRA delegation visited and met with Bishop of Phat Diem diocese Joseph Nguyễn Năng and Senior Venerable Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Chapter in the province.
During the visits, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn extended traditional New Year wishes to dignitaries and followers of Buddhism and Catholicism in the province and expressed hope that the Catholic and Buddhist dignitaries would continue encouraging followers of Catholic and Buddhism in Ninh Binh to proactively join in social programs and movements for the socio-economic development in the locality.
