GCRA leader pays Tet visits to Catholic dignitaries in Northern region

Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà led a delegation to visit Bac Ninh diocese on February 12, ahead of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival in Vietnam.

Bishop of Bac Ninh diocese Cosma Hoàng Văn Dạt welcomed the GCRA delegation.

During the visit, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà extended traditional New Year wishes to the Bishop, dignitaries, and followers in the diocese and asked Catholic dignitaries to further guiding and encouraging followers to well implement the religious laws and promote fine cultural values of the religion.

On the same day, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà and his delegation visited and met with Bishop of Lang Son diocese Joseph Châu Ngọc Tri.

While extending Tet wishes to the Bishop, priests and followers in the diocese, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà expressed hope that Bishop and priest would continue further to encourage followers to actively engage in social movements for the socio-economic development in the province./.
