Welcoming the GCRA chairman were Most Venerable Standing Vice President of the VBS’s Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu, and Buddhist dignitaries of the VBS’s Northen Office.

Joining the visiting reception included heads of GCRA’s Office and Department of Buddhist Affairs.

During the visiting reception, Chairman Phạm Dũng acknowledged efforts and contributions of Buddhist dignitaries in guiding the Buddhist church to closely accompany the nation. The GCRA Chairman also expressed hope that Buddhist dignitaries, especially those being the National Assembly’s deputies, continue to make practical contributions and further encourage Buddhists across the country to proactively participate in movements and programs for national construction and defense.

Speaking to the guests, on behalf on the VBS’s Executive Council, Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu thanked the GCRA and Chairman Phạm Dũng for supports and favorable conditions extended to the Buddhist church over the past years. He also expressed hope for continuous supports from the GCRA Chairman in the coming time.

On this occasion, the GCRA Chairman presented gifts to the VBS’s central executive committee.
