A delegation of the Vietnam’s Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn paid a working visit to the Laos People’s Democratic Republic from December 11 to December 15, 2016.
The delegation was conducted at the invitation from the Central Committee of Laos Front for National Construction for strengthening cooperation on religious affairs between the GCRA and the Central Committee of Laos Front for National Construction.
During the working visit, the GCRA delegation had a meeting with the Central Committee of Laos Front for National Construction. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged on religious issues in the two countries and shared experiences in addressing religious needs of people as well as ensuring religious and national unity in each country.
In addition, the delegation also met with the Ministry of Home Affairs and concerning authorities for exchanges on the guarantee of the people’s right to freedom of belief and religion and public security in each country.
