Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc paid a visit to Bach Y (White Cloth) Caodai Church in Kien Giang province on March 15, occasion of his working trip in the province.
Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc presents gifts to Caodai Church’s Standing Committee
The GCRA official accompanied by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức, representatives of central concerning agencies and local authorities was welcomed by Principal Archbishop Trần Văn Huynh, Chairman of the Caodai church’s the Standing Committee.
During the visit, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc highly appreciated practical contributions made by the Caodai church to the Covid-19 prevention work over the last year, and expressed hope that the church would early complete its revised Charter and inform the GCRA of the church’s upcoming general congress in accordance with the Law on Belief and Religion.
Speaking with the guests, Principal Archbishop Trần Văn Huynh took the chance to thank the visiting delegation and the GCRA for favorable conditions extended to the religious affairs of the Caodai church over the last years, as well as updated the GCRA leader with preparations for the upcoming general congress of the church.
