In Thua Thien Hue province, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà visited Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Đức Phương who is also Vice Patriarch of the Central VBS’s Discernment Council, Most Venerable Standing Vice Chairman of the Central VBS’s Executive Council Thích Chơn Thiện, Most Venerable Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Khế Chơn, and members of the provincial VBS Executive Committee.

In Quang Tri province, the GCRA delegation met with Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Thiện Tấn in Cam Lo Pagoda in Cam Lo town, Most Venerable Member of the Central VBS’s Discernment Council Thích Trí Hải in Tinh Quang Pagoda in Trieu Phong district, and Buddhist dignitaries of the provincial VBS Executive Committee.

Speaking at reception meetings, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà extended best wishes to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers in the two provinces on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday Festival 2016. He also spoke highly of achievements of the VBS Executive Committee in the past years and encouraged the Buddhist dignitaries to continue cooperating with the GCRA and local authorities for ensuring Buddhist practices to be conducted in accordance with the law and the VBS’s charter.
