Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc paid on January 24-25 visits to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS), the Hanoi Archdiocese Office, and the Vietnam Evangelical Church (North), ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

During the visits, the GCRA delegation met with Most Venerable Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Standing Deputy President of the VBS’s Executive Council, Archbishop of Hanoi Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên, and Pastor Head of the Evangelical Church’s Executive Committee Nguyễn Hữu Mạc.
At the visits, while extending Tet greetings to leaders and members of the religious organizations, the GCRA leader highly appreciated practical contributions made by religious communities for the Covid-19 prevention work and social charities over the last year.
