A delegation led by Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Vũ Hoài Bắc paid on January 18 visits to Da Nang Diocese Cathedral, the Executive Committee for the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Da Nang and Missionary Caodai Church, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022.

Joining the delegation included Director of the GCRA’s Catholic Affairs Department Đinh Quang Tiến, Director of the GCRA’s Buddhist Affairs Department Lê Minh Khánh and Vice Chairman of Da Nang municipal Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đình Tuấn.
During the visits, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc extended Tet greetings and a new year of happiness and success to all dignitaries and lay followers of religious organizations in Da Nang.
He also highlighted the religious organizations’ charitable activities and practical contributions made by religious followers in the city in social programs and movements and the Covid-19 prevention over the past years.

He also asked leaders of religious organizations in Da Nang to continue guiding lay followers to observe Covid-19 preventive measures and support the pandemic prevention work and contribute more to socio-economic development in the city.
