Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng led on May 25 a delegation to visit to the Southern office of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council in Ho Chi Minh City, on occasion of the 2562nd Buddha’s Birthday.
Welcoming the GCRA leader included Most Venerable President of the Central VBS’s Executive Council Thích Thiện Nhơn and dignitaries from the VBS Southern office.

During the visiting reception, while extending best wishes and happy celebrations of the Buddha’s Birthday to the VBS’s dignitaries and Buddhist followers on occasion of the Vesak celebration 2018, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng hailed the VBS’s practical contributions to the country over the past years.
The GCRA Vice Chairman also visited and extended congratulations on the Buddha’s birthday to the VBS's executive committee in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces of Binh Duong, Ba Ria -Vung Tau, Long An and Dong Nai.
