A delegation from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) paid a working visit to Hai Phong city from March 27 to 30.
During the working visit, the delegation led by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn had a meeting with Hai Phong city People’s Committee and met with local authorities of Thuy Nguyen district and Kien An ward to check the observance of laws relating to belief and religion. In addition, the delegation also visited several religious establishments in the city.
Hai Phong city currently has four religious organizations of Buddhism, Protestantism, Catholicism and Caodaism with 477 dignitaries, 3,000 deacons and 40,000 followers and 1,739 worshipping places.

On occasion, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn visited and extended Easter greetings to Hai Phong diocese.
