About 400 Protestant dignitaries, deacons and heads of congregations in Binh Phuoc province attended two workshops on practices of Protestantism held from April 24-26 in Dong Xoai town.
The workshops were held by Protestant Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with Binh Phuoc provincial Religious Committee for Religious Affairs (Department of Home Affairs).
The workshops covered basic contents of the State’s policy, law on religion in general and Protestantism in particular, introduction of the new Law on belief and religion, overview of Protestantism in Vietnam and in the world, and guidance for practices of Protestantism according to existing legal provisions. Besides, the workshop participants also engaged in a discussion of practical issues relating Protestant practices in the province.
