The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference to gather comments on the draft report of ten years implementing the Party’s Resolution 25 of the 9th Central Party Committee on religious affairs on April 17 in Ho Chi Minh city.
The conference was chaired by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the GCRA Phạm Dũng and attended by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn, Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Nguyễn Trung Phong and representatives from the provincial religious committee of 15 provinces and cities in Southwestern and Southeastern region.
At the conference, delegates made further discussion and exchanges on issues, including assessment of religious situation from 2003 to present, changes in religious life in the country, views and guidelines of the Party and State, the organizational system of the state governance on religious affairs, professional training for officials working on religious affairs…
