The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on April 3 a seminar on implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No.162.
The seminar chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture, Education, Adolescents and Children Hoàng Thị Hoa, members of the steering committee, the drafting board and the editorial team on the law of belief and religion project, and representatives of the GCRA’s departments.
During the event, participants discussed measures for ensuring consistency in implementing the religious law and its guiding decree in practice.
On the occasion, the GCRA held a ceremony to present certificates of merits by the minister of home affairs to 18 individuals for honoring their outstanding contributions to the drafting of the religious law.
