The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on July 11-13 a training course on Protestant affairs for local officials in Ninh Thuan province’s Phan Rang city.
Over 200 commune-level officials participating in the training were selected cadres working on Protestant affairs in South Central Coast’s provinces of Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
During the training course, presenters from the GCRA and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration delivered contents on overviews of Protestantism in the world and Vietnam, policies and laws to religion in general and Protestantism affairs in particular, as well as State policies on religious and ethnic unity.
Training participants also engaged in discussion of practical issues regarding the State administration on Protestant affairs in localities./.
