The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held from April 23-24 a legal workshop in Lai Chau province for guiding Protestant practices in the locality.
The workshop saw the presence of Pastors Bùi Văn Sản and Giàng A Páo, Vice Presidents of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North), Deputy Director of the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo, Deputy Director of the Home Affairs Department in Lai Chau province Mạc Quang Dũng and over 160 dignitaries, deacons and heads of congregations under the northern evangelical church.
The two-day workshop focused on key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and provided explanations to practical issues relating the implementation of the new belief & religious law in the locality.
