Nearly 200 Protestant dignitaries, deacons and heads of congregations in Đắk Lắk province has attended a legal workshop on practices of Protestantism held on May 25-27.
The legal training was held by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Đắk Lắk provincial People’s Committee.
Attending the workshop’s opening ceremony included Acting Director of the GCRA’s Department of Protestant Affairs Thiều Thị Hương, Chairman of Đắk Lắk provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tấn Chức.
The workshop covered introduction of the State’s policies on religion in general and Protestantism in particular, new contents of the new Law on Belief and Religion and guidelines for practices of Protestantism according to existing legal provisions, as well as discussion of practical issues relating to Protestant practices in the province.
