From Oct 25-27, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a legal training workshop for key Protestants in provinces and cities of Hai Phong, Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong.
Held in Hai Phong city’s Do Son district, the opening of the training event was attended by representatives of GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department and provincial-level religious committees of Hai Phong, Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, and about 200 pastors, commissioned pastors, evangelists and heads of Protestant groups from the five localities.

Workshop presentations at three-day conference focused on state policies and laws on religion in general and Protestant in particular, national unity policies as well as guidance for conducting religious activities in accordance with law.
Workshop participants also discussed practical issues relating to Protestant practices and the state management of Protestant affairs in localities.
