The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on March 16 a conference on the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils of all levers for 2021-2026 tenure.
Attending the event included Director of Local Government Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs Phan Văn Hùng, the GCRA’s Vice Chairmen Nguyễn Ánh Chức and Nguyễn Tiến Trọng, and all the GCRA’s staff.
During the conference, Director of Local Government Department Phan Văn Hùng presented general information on the history of the National Assembly’s elections, principles and procedures of organizing the election, rules of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for 2021-2026 tenure.

Addressing the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức informed the GCRA’s officials and staff of regulations for the upcoming national election and asked them to responsibly take part in the election.
The election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure will take place on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
