On January 7, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference on codification of legal system in the field of belief and religion.
The event was chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn, and attended by Deputy Director of Legislation Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs Lê Trọng Vinh, Head of Codification of Legal System Division, Inspection of Legal Documents Department under the Ministry of Justice Nguyễn Duy Thắng and representatives from GCRA’s departments.
At the conference, participating delegates commented on current legal documents on codification and proceeding, procedures of legal codification in the field of belief and religion.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn requested the GCRA’s Legislation and Inspection Department to work in close coordination with the concerned ministries and departments of the GCRA in order to complete tasks regarding the codification of legal system in the field of belief and religion.
