The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on January 07 a conference for reviewing its performance 2020 and mapping out plans for 2021.
The conference co-chaired by Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức and Head of the GCRA’s Trade Union Trần Thị Minh Thu saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng, Head of the Trade Union cum Chief of home affairs ministry’s office Vũ Đăng Minh, and all GCRA’s staff and employees.
The annual conference discussed draft reports on the GCRA’s performances in 2020 and key tasks set for 2021, the emulation movement in 2020, the GCRA’s people's inspection in 2020, and the state budget spending 2019, launched the emulation movement for 2021 and informed the GCRA’s budget approved for 2021.

Addressing the event, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng praised efforts and achievements of the GCRA in 2020, contributing to stable practices of belief and religion in the country, creating favorable conditions for religious organizations to practically contribute to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and support people severely affected by floods in the Central region.
The Deputy Minister also called on the GCRA’s cadres, civils and employees to continue promoting fine traditions for successfully fulfilling the assigned tasks set for 2021.

On this occasion, eight groups and 17 individuals were presented recommendation certificates of Home Affairs Minister for their outstanding contributions in the state governance on belief and religion.
