GCRA extends visit to Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

A delegation led by Deputy Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Protestant Affairs Department Nguyễn Ngọc Bảo paid a visit on January 22 to the Vietnam Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ahead of Lunar New Year 2019.

The GCRA delegation was welcomed by Head of the LDS Church’s Representative Committee Hoàng Văn Tùng and several advisors of the LDS Church overseas.

During the visit, the GCRA delegation extended New Year greetings to the LDS Church’s dignitaries and followers and had cordial exchanges with the hosts on Lunar New Year in some Asian country.

Head of the LDS Church’s Representative Committee Hoàng Văn Tùng took the chance to thank to the GCRA for its support extended to the LDS Church’s religious affairs over the past year. He also hoped that the GCRA would continue guiding the LDS Church’s activities according to the state laws and sent wishes of success and happiness to the GCRA’s officials and staff.
