A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of Department for Other Various Religions Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid on January 26 a visit to the Representative Committee of the Islamic community in An Giang province ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival 2018.
During the visit, the GCRA director extended Tet wishes to members of the Islamic representative committee, Hakin, Naep of Islamic mosques and Cham people in the province.
The director also took the chance to call on the dignitaries of the Islamic community to promote their roles in encouraging local Cham Muslims to actively participate in social movements and closely work with local authorities for community development in localities.
