A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid on January 24 visits to the Caodai Correction-path Church and the Caodai Ante-Creation Church in Ben Tre province, on occasion of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.

Joining the delegation was Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Giàu and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân.
At the visits, while extending Tet greetings to dignitaries and lay followers of the two Caodai churches, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức had exchanges with leaders of the two Caodai churches on the church affairs in 2023 and key plans for 2024, and praised achievements in religious affairs and social charities made by the two Caodai churches last year.

He also expressed hope followers of the two Caodai churches would further promote the spirit of solidarity, well implement the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and the churches’ charter and regulation, and proactively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by local authorities.
