GCRA extends congratulation to religious media on Press Day

On June 19, a delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Director of Information Center Ngô Mạnh Hùng visited religious newspapers in Hanoi, on occasion of the 92nd anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day.

Joining the delegation included representatives of the Departments of Catholic Affairs, Caodai Affairs and Buddhist Affairs, and the State Religious Affairs Magazine under the GCRA.

During the visit, the delegation met with Most Venerable Thích Gia Quang, Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council, Director of the VBS’s Information and Communication Committee cum Editor of the Journal of Buddhist Studies at Lien Phai Pagoda; Priest Vice Chairman of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics Dương Phú Oánh at Phuong Bai Church, Editor of the Vietnamese Catholic newspaper Vũ Thành Nam and collaborators from the Hanoi Caodai parish under the Caodai Correction-Path Church.

Speaking at visiting receptions, Director Ngô Mạnh Hùng extended best wishes to editors, journalists and collaborators from religious press. He also expressed hope for more cooperation in the information and communication on belief and religion.
