GCRA disseminates religious laws to dignitaries and deacons of Pure-Land Buddhist Association

On November 23, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference for disseminating religious laws to dignitaries and deacons of the Pure Land Buddhist Association.
Attending the conference included Vice Chairman of the GCRA Trần Tấn Hùng, Director of the GCRA’s Legislation and Inspection Department Nguyễn Khắc Huy, and Vice President of the Pure Land Buddhist Association Nguyễn Văn Tuy, General Secretary of the Association Huỳnh Văn Tâm and about 300 dignitaries and deacons of the Buddhist Association.
During the disseminating conference, participants learnt overview of the religious situation in Vietnam, the State’ policies and laws on belief and religion, and issues relating belief and religion.
The GCRA’s reporters also shared with the dignitaries and deacons the draft Law of belief and religion.
